Bingo-Playing Woman Leaves Autistic Child In Vehicle For Over 2 Hours
On Friday a woman was charged with child endangerment after she left a child over two hours in a vehicle.
Based on booking records, Leslie Domengeaux, 53, was accused of improper supervision and child endangerment.
After being informed by a person who remains anonymous, Officers found a child sitting alone inside of a turned off vehicle on December 8th. The kid was wearing a T-shirt, pajama pants, and no jacket while the temperature outside was 35 degrees.

According to the warrant, the child was under the supervision of Domengeaux, who was located inside of Baker Bingo Hall.
Domengeaux claimed that she was away for just 20 minutes but many witnesses confirmed that she was away more than 2 hours.
Officers took the child to a responsible party and found out that the child was autistic.
Domengeaus was convicted of improper supervision, child endangerment, and cruelty to juveniles and is currently held in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
