Warning: Toddler Hospitalized After Playing With This Outdoor Toy
When John McClane heard his 3-year-old son scream while playing outside in the backyard with his sister, he assumed the boy had been bitten by an insect.
It was a lot worse than that. When he went outside to see what was going on he noticed 2 giant bike marks on his son Judson’s leg.
“I heard him yell real loud” Mclane said. “I figured it was an ant or maybe a wasp”
A huge snake had in fact coiled itself under his son’s toy dump truck and attacked the child when he played with it.
The boy was rushed to Little rock Children’s Hospital. They discovered it was a cottonmouth snake that bit Judson. It’s a venomous snake, so Judson had to be given 16 vials of antivenom to fight off the poison, but thankfully he is doing well.
The Father is now pleading with parents to be careful with kids in the garden.
Picking up toys and lawn items every evening and trimming excess vegetation would help to keep snakes away from the area.
