Twins Separated After Birth Reunite – And Their Reaction Is Incredible
This story will melt your heart – it’s all about two newborn twins that instantly formed an incredible bond when they were reunited after being separated for only minutes after birth.
Weston and Caleb Lyman were born 4 weeks premature and screamed after doctors separated them to assess their health for a few minutes.
But remarkably, as soon as nurses touched their cheeks, the newborns fell silent and still.
This cute reunion was caught on camera by their overwhelmed dad Dane Lyman.
Since he put the clip on Facebook, it has been viewed by over five million people and shared widely.
“Immediately after delivery, I followed the boys to see how long they were and how much they weighed,” Dane told NewsCenterMaine .
“That’s when I got the footage. It was one of sweetest things to watch and I’m so glad I caught it on video.”
The medicine student, of Orlando, Florida, noted: “One of our greatest hopes, when we found out we were having twins, was that, as they grew, they would be good friends and support one another.
“Seeing them comfort each other just moments after birth was almost like the first step in that special relationship.”
Dane and wife Lisa, who have 2 other kids, have since taken Weston and Celeb home after they got a clean slate of health.
Many other parents reacted with joy to the video online. Some even shared adorable pictures of their inseparable twins.
