A toddler was taken to a hospital on Saturday night after nearly drowning in a pool in Palm Desert.
The incident occurred at the 72-600 block of Fred Waring Drive, said Deputy Armando Munoz.
The child is said to be between 2-3 years old. He was found floating in the pool, initially not breathing.
Deputies arrived and the child was then revived but was rushed to an area hospital as a precaution.
Authorities are now urging pool owners to be aware of all kids, especially small children, around the pool.
