Khloe Kardashian Threw an Over-the-Top Baby Shower in Los Angeles

The Kardashians really know how to throw a party, and Khloe Kardashian‘s baby shower might just be their most lavish affair ever.

Khloe Kardashian, who’s expecting her first child with basketball player Tristan Thompson, hosted a baby shower at the Bel Air hotel in Los Angeles this Saturday.

The reality star revealed last week that they would be welcoming a baby girl some time this year, and the venue was decked top-to-bottom in pink in her honor.

“The shower is very pink with thousands of pink flowers everywhere,” a source told E! of the lavish affair, which was designed by celebrity wedding planner Mindi Weiss and florist Jeff Leatham. “Including hundreds of stems hanging from the ceiling that create an amazing first impression as guests walk in.”

There was also apparently a giant pink stuffed giraffe at the entrance, and the guests were told to wear pink to mark the occasion.

The guest list of course included all of the Kardashian/Jenner women, as well as hairstylist Jen Atkin, Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kim Zolciak-Bierman and Larsa Pippin, E! reported.

Guests were treated to champagne and strawberries, and according to a post on Atkin’s Instagram story there was an opportunity for everyone to offer name suggestions to the parents-to-be.

“Tristan was there to support Khloe and she was so happy. They looked very much in love,” a source told E! “You could truly tell that Tristan is very much in love with her by the way he was by her side today.”

During the shower, Kris Jenner gave a toast to her daughter. “We are here today to celebrate Khloe. On a lighter note, I was here almost 40 years ago almost to the day for my shower for my wedding shower to Robert Kardashian,” she said, adding “I’ve also probably had a couple of baby showers… And a couple of wedding nights.”

Wow, I can only imagine how the baby girl’s first birthday party will be!
