If you’ve purchased any baked goods from an HEB store recently, you need to check the labels. Specifically, some cakes could be carrying some Salmonella tainted milk.
HEB said the cakes, distributed by Dawn Food Products, Inc., contain High Heat Nonfat Dry Milk Powder from Valley Milk Products LLC.
No one has reported any illnesses, but the products have been removed from stores. If you have them, return them to the store for a full refund.
Customers with any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-855-432-4438, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Standard Time.
