Comedian Rob Delaney’s 2-Year-Old Son Has Died From a Brain Tumor
Rob Delaney’s 2-year-old son, Henry, has passed away.
The comedian and actor shared the sad news in a Facebook post on Feb. 9. “I have very sad news. My two and a half year year old son Henry has passed away,” Rob wrote.
“Henry had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016, shortly after his first birthday, following persistent vomiting and weight loss. He had surgery to remove the tumor and further treatment through the early part of 2017. Then the cancer returned last autumn and he died in January.”
Our hearts go out to the family. He leaves behind a Mom and Dad and Henry’s two older brothers.
“They are why I will endeavor to not go mad with grief,” Rob wrote.
The actor also took the time to thank the nurses, home carers, and charity workers who helped the family during Henry’s illness and encouraged people to donate to UK-based organizations Rainbow Trust and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice if they want to.
