A 22-month-old boy was reportedly picked up by his father on Friday morning — with the understanding that the child would be brought back home by 5 p.m. — but, his family hasn’t seen him since.
According to Unified policeThe boy, Elias Valdez, has brown curly hair, and lives in Sandy, near 900 East and 9900 South.
The child is considered endangered because his family is anxious about his father, Blas Valdez.
“Concern about the father’s mental state makes this an urgent matter,” Unified police wrote on Twitter.
Blas Valdez was last seen driving a light blue VW sedan.
