AMBER Alert Cancelled, Children Found Safe in Colorado
Michigan State Police told 9&10 News that Alex Perez has been arrested by local police after abducting his two children from their home after a double homicide.
According to 9 & 10 News at 1:30 a.m. Friday morning, a civil authority issued a child abduction emergency for the following counties:
Wexford, Otsego, Osceola, Missaukee, Manistee, Leelanau, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, Emmet, Crawford, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Benzie and Antrim.
The Michigan State Police have issued an AMBER ALERT after two children were abducted.
Law enforcement says they believe the two children, Nova Perez, 4-years-old and Luna Perez, 3-years-old, were abducted from their home by their father, Alex Perez, after a double homicide.
The suspect may be driving a tan 2003 Chevrolet Impala with Michigan license plate AYY-708.
The children were last seen in Coloma, Michigan.
