A Bomb blast at a concert in the Manchester Arena has left 22 people dead.
Details have now emerged that the youngest victim of the Manchester Arena bombing, was just 8 years old.
Lancashire County Council has confirmed that 8-year-old Saffie-Rose Roussos, was among the 22 people who were killed during the explosions following last night’s Ariana Grande concert.
Islamic State has taken responsibility for the bomb blast at the concert, saying that the attacker was a ‘soldier of the caliphate’.
Police say that the lone attacker died when detonating an improvised explosive device in the attack.
Prime Minister Theresa May said at a press conference that intelligence services believe they know the identity of the attacker. They are however working to determine whether he was acting alone or a part of a group.
