Tragic News: Baby Dies After Teen Mom Hits Her With Car
A 19-year-old Mother has been arrested after she struck and killed her 7-month-old daughter with her vehicle.
Officials followed up on reports of a disturbance at a home in Ontario late on Monday.
The young mother, Sarah Marie Gomez, as well as the infant’s 21-year-old father was reportedly arguing, according to Ontario police.
Gomez reportedly then used a car to hit her boyfriend, who was carrying their child.
It is still not known if the crash was intentional or not.
The baby had life-threatening injuries from the incident and was taken to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where she later died. The father received a number of abrasions and is expected to recover.
According to officials, the parents are said to have been drinking alcohol at a family gathering earlier that same evening.
Gomez was arrested on murder as well as attempted murder charges.
