5. The Land of Nod Cot Mobiles
This recall involved The Land of Nod Follow the Herd mobile. The recalled mobile is made of white wool felt and has five sheep figures made of white wool yarn. The yarn from the sheep figures can unravel, posing an entanglement and strangulation hazard to young children. The Land of Nod had received three reports of the sheep’s yarn unravelling yet no injuries had been reported.
6.The James Trading Group Kids Sports Hoodie
The sweatshirts have a drawstring around the neck area which poses a strangulation hazard to children. Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation and/or entanglement hazard to children. Consumers were asked to immediately take these recalled hoodies away from children. Consumers can remove the drawstring from the hoodie to eliminate the hazard or return it to the place where purchased for a full refund.
7. Moses Basket and Stand
Sleeping partners recalled the product as the Moses basket fails to meet the federal hand held infant carrier standard and the stand fails to meet the bassinet/cradle standard. The basket can slide off an inclined surface and the stand can tip, posing a fall hazard for infants. Consumers were told to immediately stop using the Moses baskets as a hand held infant carrier.
8. Pink Giraffe Animal Purse
Imagine Nation Books recalled their Pink Giraffe Animal Purse due to a violation of a lead paint standard. The red paint on the zipper of the purse contains excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
Consumers were asked to immediately take these recalled purses away from young children and contact Imagine Nation Books for instructions on returning the purse for a full refund.
9. Precious Cargo Infant One-Piece Garments
The snaps on the one-piece garments can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. Consumers were told to immediately stop using the recalled garments and contact Precious Cargo to return them for a full refund.
10. IKEA Crib Mattresses
About 38,400 crib mattresses were previously recalled in January 2015 and again in May 2015 for entrapment hazards. Then in September 2015 the IKEA VYSSA SPELEVINK crib mattresses were recalled once again as it failed to meet the federal open flame standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard. To date, no injuries have been reported.
