Toddler Trapped Underwater After SUV Plunges Into Pond
In Blackfoot Idaho, a 2-year-old girl was trapped underwater for about an hour, after a SUV went off a road and into a pond. The girl has since been taken to a hospital.
The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office says the SUV with 2 adults and 2 children went off the road at about 6 p.m. on Monday near Blackfoot.
Authorities said the adults and another child made it out before the SUV became completely submerged.
Emergency officials arrived at the scene and pulled the girl from the water, and she was then transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Her condition is unknown at this stage.
The three other occupants of the vehicle were taken to Bingham Memorial Hospital. No Names have been released and authorities are continuing to investigate
