Target Says Sorry For ‘Baby Daddy’ Father’s Day Cards
Target has apologized for selling “Baby Daddy” cards for Father’s Day.
Some people took to social media to voice their concerns on the card, with some saying that it was amusing while others saying it was offensive.
Takeisha Saunders uploaded a photo of the card to Facebook recently, captioning the post
“You CANNOT be serious Target!!!! Really!!!?!!!!? This was the only Father’s Day card that featured a black couple!!!!!!
#OurVoicesReally#NotMyNarrative #HowAboutHusband #HowAboutLove #HowAboutJustDad”
After the public outrage, Target said that it was removing the cards from their shelves and issued an apology, saying “We appreciate the feedback and apologize. It’s never our intent to offend any of our guests with the products we sell.”
