Recall Alert: Check Your Childs Scooter
Pulse Performance has recalled it’s Krusher scooters because the down tube can break, which poses a fall hazard to riders.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the company has received 15 reports of the tube breaking, including 2 reports of scrapes from falls.
The recall is for Pulse Krusher Pro Freestyle scooters with the following description:
* factory code 083WY
* item number 164257
* date code 10-8-2016 or earlier
The codes can be seen on a label under on the scooter deck. The scooters are 30-inches high and were sold in blue and have the words “PULSE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS” printed on the down tube.
The scooters were sold at Walmart and Westminster Trading stores from June 2016 through May 2017 for about $40 (in store and online)
Consumers are asked to stop using the recalled scooters and contact Pulse Performance Products for a full refund.
