Passengers On Flight Forced To Endure Screaming Child For Hours

Having to deal with a screaming child on public transport is an absolute nightmare – the worst if you’re on a plane and there’s nothing you can do but ride it out.

You’ll understand the pain of the passengers of one trans-Atlantic flight last summer, then – who were forced to listen to one kid screaming and running around for eight full hours.

In a video that was taken on board the flight from Germany to Newark, New Jersey last summer, the child can be seen climbing over all the seats and howling before the flight had even taken off.

The video of the young boy, taken from a few seats back, was uploaded by YouTuber user Shane Townley who called the child a ‘demonic child’ in the caption. Going by the footage, Shane’s description wasn’t far off.

“Watch as this kid runs and screams throughout the entire flight while the mother does little to nothing to stop him,” Shane wrote, not too flatteringly to the kids’ parents.

“3 years old on a 8 hour flight from Germany to Newark NJ. He never quits!”

The video starts off by showing the child climbing all over the seats and jabbering while his mother commands him to sit, trying to calm him down.

The Mother is so desperate she asks the flight attendant if they can use the Wifi to distract the kid with an iPad before the flight’s even taken off.

But instead of following his mom’s orders, he doesn’t, with the kid somehow being allowed to go free-range up and down the aisles while passengers cover their ears in complete horror.

Once the child returns to his seat, it doesn’t get better from there.

The child can be heard screaming for the entire journey, with the video tracking the hours as they pass like a prisoner marking days on a cell wall.

The passengers were glad to get off when the plane landed, with one passenger saying: “What a nightmare, oh my God – eight hours of screaming” as they wheel their suitcase off.

People watching the video weren’t on the kids’ side, saying that the child and his parents should have been taken off the flight for the good of everyone else.

“Sadly this is happening more and more on flights, unruly kids and babies and exhausted parents,” one person commented. “Even noise cancellation headphones would not have drowned out this terror.

“Total lack of discipline..perhaps crew should have removed said child and parents for violating safety regulations.”

Another called the kid’s behaviour ‘unacceptable’, saying: “If this started before the plane took off, the plane should have taxied back to the terminal and kicked the kid and his parents off.”

A third said: “Call an exorcist.”
