A young UK mom claims that she has discovered a “miracle cream” that has finally cured her toddler’s eczema once and for all.

For the last three years, Paige Sweeney has desperately been searching for anything that would ease the uncomfortable symptoms of her daughter’s eczema.

Sweeney’s daughter Evie-Rae would often scratch herself so much at night that she would often make herself bleed, according to the Daily Mail.

As a last resort, Sweeney bought a $5 cream called Childs Farm Baby Moisturizer. In just a matter of days, her eczema was gone.

Within a matter of days I could see her skin starting to clear up. I couldn’t believe it,” she said.

Now, 3 months after she first started using the cream, Evie-Rae is still eczema free and her Mom thinks it should be offered as a prescription through the UK’s NHS.

Sweeney says that before she found Childs Farm Baby Moisturizer, Evie-Rae was prescribed a number of different antibiotics that just didn’t work.

“I’ve tried everything in an attempt to help Evie-Rae. She has had eczema since she was born, then when she was five weeks old she was diagnosed with a milk allergy,” she said. “Her eczema was so painful that she didn’t sleep through the night until she was two. She was constantly scratching and bleeding.”

“We saw a dermatologist every eight weeks for two and a half years, but nothing we tried seemed to work. It was awful to see her in so much pain,” she added.

Finally, Sweeney picked up a bottle of the Childs Farm moisturizer as it was dermatologist-approved and contained soothing ingredients such as Shea butter, tea tree oil, and grapefruit.

I saw the moisturising cream on the shelf in Boots and decided to give it a go. Evie-Rae also has a nut, soya and egg allergy, so we have to be careful with what we give her, but I could see the ingredients were all natural,” she said. “Within a matter of days I could see her skin starting to clear up. I couldn’t believe it.”

The mother has shared before and after photos on Facebook, and they have since gone viral.

Evie-Rae is completely clear of eczema and the Mother still applies the cream once a day.

Founder of Childs Farm, Joanna Jensen, said that she hopes the cream can help other children around the world now that Evie-Rae’s story has gone viral.

Paige and Evie-Rae’s story is not uncommon to us – but they have shown how one small change can make all the difference,” said Jensen.
