A mother, Jenna Casado Rabberman knows firsthand just how important it is for her children to be buckled up, after she and her two young boys were recently involved in a serious car accident.

Neither of her sons, ages three and six weeks old, were harmed in the accident.

And Rabberman credits proper buckling with saving both their lives. “I’m not one to post anything too heavy or personal on Facebook but guys… THIS is why you buckle your kids into their car seats correctly every SINGLE time,” she writes.

After her boys escaped the accident without a scratch, she’s now reminding all parents to buckle kids up properly even if they resist, or complain that the straps are too tight, or don’t want to be rear-facing.

“We stopped for milk on the way home from preschool yesterday,” she writes. “We were minutes from home. Another car slammed into us. You never think it will happen to you. My boys escaped without a scratch but the paramedics told me it could have been very different had I not taken the extra 2 minutes to be sure they were buckled correctly.”

The photo itself is an incredible shock to the system, to say the least, as you see the summed remains of her car behind two perfectly intact car seats.

That could literally happen to any one of us, at any time. SO, It’s an important reminder to always make sure that our children are strapped in tightly, with the chest clips and harnesses in the correct places to prevent injury to our kids, even though we cannot always avoid accidents from happening.

“I will be fine, my kids are fine, everything else can be replaced. Sending thanks to God for keeping us safe (along with Honda, Graco & Chicco),” she says.

The post has gone viral for obvious reasons, as it’s hitting home with parents everywhere. “The response has been mostly positive,” Rabberman says. “I’ve gotten so many PMs from moms saying they’re replacing faulty seats, turning older kids rear facing again, and making sure anyone who drives their child knows exactly how to buckle them in. All great things!”

The Mother has turned her terrifying experience into a reminder for all parents that we need to do everything we can to ensure proper car seat installation, strap placement as well as seatbelt use!

Mom, Danielle Lloyd got creative on a whole new level when she found a way to squeeze all four of her children into the backseat of her car.

The model, whose fourth child is on the way, had to make the choice between buying a new car or getting all her little ones to fit safely and comfortably in the backseat of her current car.

She posted a photo to Instagram on Aug. 17 of how she customized a set of four car seats to fit her needs.

In her caption, she wrote: “Absolutely love our new personalized car chair made for our four boys making our three seats into four.” She also “fully recommended” MultiMac, who makes custom car seats that accommodate three to four kids.
