Mom Attaches Note To Twins So Strangers Can Stop Commenting

Mother, Annie Nolan spends an enormous amount of her time answering the questions of strangers about her two-year-old twin girl Delphine and Cheska.

The 26-year-old mom and blogger of Uncanny Annie, who gets lots of comments and questions, apparently decided to write the answers to her ‘frequently asked questions’ on signs for her twin girls to hold.

Annie, who is also a mom to a four-year-old, Malachy, took a snap of her two little girls in their prams holding the signs and uploaded them to her blog’s Facebook page- and she couldn’t have imagined the overwhelming response she would get from parents of twins all over the world.

There is no doubt that people love twins as babies and kids are adorable and it can be hard to wrap your head around the idea that there were two babies growing at once and one person with two hands is supposed to somehow manage and figure out how to care for two really tiny babies.

She captioned

“Facebook tells me this photo was taken 2 years ago today! (Delphi left, Cheska right) Awww what little cuties they were. Almost makes me clucky #not #noseriouslyitwasajoke #theygrowup #andgetattitudes

Then there is this fascination with how twins come to be. We know that just having children and being out in public with them can lead to some really offensive questions. We’re asked all the time if all those kids are ours, whether or not  they’re a “good” baby, whatever that means, and all sorts of other questions snooping into how they were born, or how you’re feeding them.

Parents of twins get it so much worse than other parents because there is that extra WTF there are two of them questions coming into play. Generally, it can be really annoying to have to stop and answer the same question over and over again.

However, this mom cleared that all up in one incredibly humorous photo that she posted to her Facebook page, and just like her adorable twins, it sparked a very heated at times conversation.

The mom of these two adorable little girls shared the photo on her Facebook page of them sitting in the stroller with a pink blanket over on their legs. Each girl is holding a sign that answers all those common questions so many twin moms get. I can’t even begin to think how annoying it is to answer the same questions day in and day out every time you leave the house.

“Yes, they are mine.”

“Yes, they are twins.”

“Yes, both girls.”

“No, not identical.”

Yes, I know they look alike though.”

Yes, I’m sure they aren’t identical”

The other sister is holding another sign which focuses more on living with twins.

“Conceived by f**king.”

“Born via C-section.”

“You have tins in your family? Great.”

“They don’t run in my family, until now.”

“Yes, my hands are full. (sometimes with 2 glasses of wine just to get through.”

“Yes, triplets would be harder.”

The photo went viral quickly, with people either loving the photo as they could definitely understand or people chiming in with their hate. Some people got annoyed because they felt this busy, likely tired af mom, had to answer questions from well-meaning strangers for the rest of her life.

Of course there were others that added their two cents saying that this note is definitely needed.

“Mine are three point five and the questions never seem to stop,” one mom writes. “Some days I bask in the glory others I just want people to leave me along lol I guess it’s like becoming a celebrity in many ways because they are so fascinating yet not so fascinating when tantruming in unison.”

What do you think about this Mom’s idea?
