Authorities in Alabama say an infant has died after being left in a hot car outside an Alabama office building.
Lt. Ryan Farrell of the Vestavia Hills Fire Department said police and firefighters were called to the building on Friday, after the 1-year-old boy was found inside the parked vehicle.
The child was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Al.com reported that the baby boy’s father had accompanied him to the hospital.
Investigators could not determine how long the boy had been in the vehicle.
