Why You Should Give Your Kids Exactly 3 Gifts This Christmas – Nothing More, Nothing Less
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, the Christmas cheer is in full swing . . . and the little ones are getting excited about Santa coming to town with a bag full of toys.
Most Moms are already stocking up on the hot toys of the season and it’s really easy to get caught up in the madness of the season by trying to find the hardest-to-get gifts to ensure that your children have the most magical, memorable Christmas yet.
The holiday season is tiring, there’s so much going on – all in an effort to squeeze every ounce of joy out of the holidays.
But there’s one thing we can do to simplify things … Buy fewer gifts for those precious little kids of yours.
Not a bag full of toys. Just 3 toys each…
This Christmas strategy will not only save you time, money, and a piece of your sanity, but most likely, your kids won’t even notice!
This amount of Christmas gifts is exactly the number they need to feel like they’ve scored some serious loot while still being invested in every single item they receive.
Anything more than this, and their eyes start glazing over.
The kids then just become present-opening machines, requesting the next one seconds after they’ve opened the last gift, which they haven’t really even processed, let alone appreciated. This actually becomes an unfulfilling game of quantity over quality.
They could literally be opening the same Hatchimal set over and over again and they probably wouldn’t notice until about the fifth one.
The bottom line is if you buy too many presents and not only have you wasted your hard-earned money, but you’ve also ensured that your kids won’t even remember half of what they’ve received.
But of course, if you buy fewer than three, and well, you kind of look like the Grinch of Christmas.
This is Christmas, after all, and kids want to be blown away…
Make one of their gifts something spectacular — that impossible-to-find toy they’ve been begging for, and voila, you’re the best mom ever.
The other two gifts can be smaller (and a lot less pricey) things, and they’ll be good.
