My son is 4 but very tall. Anyone know of a good car seat for tall kids who still need a harness?

Evenflo has a great one that I use for my niece, who is 5 and a half and above average height, although very skinny. It’s a 5 point harness that also transitions into a high back booster, and then also a backless booster. I still use the 5 point harness because she hasn’t outgrown it and I figure safer is better. If she gains a few pounds I’ll probably have to switch to the high back booster when she is 6. She will probably use the booster for a couple years. If it works for a tall 5 year old, it could be good for a talk for year old, right? Good luck

The model is Evenflo Maestro, and the limits for the 5 point harness is 50 pounds and 50 inches. My niece is 44 inches and 40 pounds at 5 and a half. If I’m lucky, she won’t outgrow the harness until at least 6 and a half. Then I’d probably let her try the booster.

I love that the anchor point is in the seat itself. I have 2 old anchor point car seats in my car (Hyundai Getz hatch back) and the boot is unusable once the stroller is in.
I would like to see this seat tested with a crash test dummy and simulated car crash
