This Mother Is Paying to Choose Her Baby’s Sex And Fires Back At Anyone Who Thinks That’s Wrong
When it comes to conception and fertility treatments, science is really amazing!
It allows couples who can’t get pregnant on their own to finally realize their dreams of having a family when they may not have otherwise been able to.
In the case of Mother of four Danielle Lloyd, it is allowing her to realize her dreams of having a daughter.
Gender selection is something which is not legal in every country and many people do not agree with the principle.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been very open about using gender selection with their first kid, daughter Luna.
The couple received a lot of serious backlash for that decision. Other celebs like Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham have also been rumoured to have used gender selection with their pregnancies.
Those who use gender selection say that it’s simply a means to complete their family. They argue that since it isn’t affecting anyone else’s life, people shouldn’t have a problem with it.
Some accuse those who use gender selection as ‘playing God’.
But perhaps its understandable for someone to select their child’s gender if they can. Many of us may relate to former glamour model Danielle Lloyd and her fiancé Michael O’Neill’s desire to have a daughter. They already have 4 boys and instead of leaving things to chance, the couple have decided to undergo gender selection.
Lloyd is Mom to four sons; 6-year-old Archie, 5-year-old Harry and 2-year-old George with her former partner Jamie O’Hara.
The Mom shares a newborn son Ronnie with O’Neill.
Lloyd has been open about wanting another kid, and this time wanting to ensure she has a daughter.
As these things go, her decision has been met with much criticism. In a statement read on Loose Woman, an UK based talk show, the mom of boys kicked back at her critics.
Danielle Lloyd, who is not currently expecting baby #5, shared that she will definitely undergo gender selection when the time comes.
“I’m not sure why anyone would deny us this. I’ve always wanted a girl, I totally appreciate the fact that some women aren’t lucky enough to have children and might think I’m selfish,” she wrote.“Michael and I will go abroad for gender selection, I don’t doubt that many celebrities do it, but not many people say it.”
The 33-year-old Mom wants to have her kids sooner rather than later, telling OK! Magazine that she wants her children to be close together in age.“I’ve always dreamt of having a little girl. If we did have another one I’d like it quite soon. I wouldn’t want to be pregnant at 40 and it’s nice for the kids to be close in age.”
The former model shared a video on Instagram of her children’s disappointment upon learning that her fourth child would also be a boy. “Need I say more?? Gender selection is a family decision” she captioned the post.
Some people were quite harsh with their comments on her post.
“Should not mess with nature!! Sometimes in life you just have to be thankful in life of what you have instead of thinking you can buy what you want…. I really do find it disgusting!!”
“Poor Ronnie growing up knowing everyone in his family wanted a girl a child is a blessing from god not a choice”Others completely related to her decision to gender select her next child.
“I have five girls and if I had the money I would gender select a boy!”
“I have 4 boys and totally understand the desire for a little girl, it doesn’t mean u love your boys any less!”
What do you think about her decision? Do you think gender selection is ‘playing God’?
