AMBER ALERT: Child abducted from Santa Maria
48-year-old suspect considered armed and dangerous
SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Law enforcement has activated an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old boy abducted from Santa Maria late Monday night.
Konstantin Morozov, 48, is suspected of abducting 9-year-old Daniel Morozov. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Morozov is described as a White male adult with brown hair and brown eyes, about 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
The suspect was last seen driving a 2015 Volkswagen Golf, Blue, Hatchback with California license plate number: 7JGG242
9-year-old Daniel is described as a white male child with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 4-feet 5-inches tall and weighs approximately 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. Santa Maria police said special attention should be given to international airports and border crossings.
Santa Maria police responded to a report of a deadly shooting on the 200 block of North College Drive at around 9 p.m. Monday. Authorities said the two incidents are related.
