A toddler was dropped off in a car seat outside a fire station on Houston’s southside on Friday.
Firefighters were busy in training at Station 21 when they heard a baby crying. As they made their way downstairs, they found an approximately one-year-old male toddler.
The toddler was left in a car seat with some cereal and a diaper bag.
The baby was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital for evaluation.
Children’s Protective Services has been notified and now involved in the case.
