National hot dog manufacturer, John Morrell and Co. is issuing a recall.
The company is recalling more than 210,000 pounds of hot dogs after receiving reports of metal objects in the packages.
The affected products are 14-ounce packages of Nathan’s Skinless 8 Beef Franks. This product has a “Use By” date of August 19, 2017.
16-ounce packages of Curtis BEEF MASTER Beef Franks with a “Use By” date of June 15, 2017 are also affected.
The affected packages have “EST. 296” on the side of the package.
Consumers who have purchased these are asked to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
