Allegan Michigan Authorities say that a western Michigan toddler was struck and killed by a truck driven by his grandfather.
Authorities say that 17-month-old Brentyn Allen Combs-Easterday could not be revived after he was struck on Saturday night at his grandparents’ home outside Allegan.
Officers say that the toddler was being looked after by his grandparents while his Mom was at work. His grandmother was holding onto him while his grandfather got into his truck to leave, but the boy broke away from the woman. He was immediately struck by the truck traveling at a slow speed.
The incident appears to be a tragic accident and no foul play is suspected, say officials.
