No. They spend the majority of the time at school. And kids act up when parents are not around

Learnt? Really? Word choice should count for something. Learnt is not a word.

I believe that this is correct. I am guilty of some of these things. But I know that I can make it better if I just try.

Disagree, yes I am guilty of shouting and So my kids shout , I hate that I shout but my 13 year old has taken to swearing at me which is a no no in our house and being very disrespectful this is not something taught from us as parents. People are very quick to blame parents but unfortunately society has made the generations the way they are. Police and schools are unable to do anything and we as parents are fighting a losing battle. As a parent I beat myself up enough that her behaviour is a result of my parenting. Our kids have far too much ch for nothing and have no respect for anything. It’s sad and I dread the next generations.

Absolutely Liza, totally agree. Judgement of others is very wrong. Walk a mile in my shoes before you judge me.

If a two year old is doing these things, they are doing exactly what they need to do… They test parents, it is important for their development. It’s how we react that is important.

Tasha, my 3 year old is sassing like a teenager, and hurtful with his words. The only thing I can say to empathize with what you’re going through with your two year old, is that it is a phase and it will pass. Your 2 year old is exploring and probably not misbehaving to irritate you, so instead try redirecting the behavior and don’t forget to reward good behavior with lots of hugs and kisses. They’re only small for a short while, enjoy it!

Wow! I can’t get past some of the stupidity in this. I do believe children learn from their parents, but the generations and generations of children that were disciplined and were from to be seen and not heard generation have better manners than 90% of kids these days, and I assure you it wasn’t from coddling them. Children these days have so many more influences than we did even when I was growing up. It’s OK for a 13 year old to walk down the streets singing the latest nasty versions of rap songs, or cussing as if they were sailors. Should we just allow them to be themselves, because God forbid we correct them. Not to mention Debbie-Leigh Reiger comment, is on point. Too many things to consider when raising a child. Post is way to general!

If I went by this article my two sons disabilities would be my fault lol. Thank God for their team of professionals who have made it abundantly clear it is not

No joke! Not to say that some kids couldn’t use some serious manners and dicipline, but when u do your best as a parent at some point it becomes the responsibility of the growing child to make the right decisions too!

Perhaps a bit harsh and taken out of context. The general idea is valid, missed on delivery.

According to this.. Children are mindless drones. Come
On! Some times kids lie…. They have to learn consequences for their own actions which are not always any ones fault but their own. Children do learn a lot from their parents obviously just like they do their peers. But children also make choices all on their own! Crazy

#4 is ridiculous…..I am not about to let my kids know that people watching gets them out of trouble….it don’t work that way in real life….as for their siblings watching, bet they learn from it
