A Teen Mom from Ohio posted a live video of her alternative to “whooping” her busy toddler while trying to clean.
The 18-Year-Old Mom has been charged with a felony and her Facebook Live video is causing outrage among viewers. Shayla Rudolph, allegedly took a video of her crying 2-year-old taped to the wall by his head and arms, during which she told him:
- “You got the best mommy in the whole wide world,”
- She reminded him that he could still see the TV from his place on the wall.
- She threatened to add more packing tape if he kept crying, and told her viewers, “Parent’s don’t need to whoop the kids; all you gotta do is tape them to the wall.”
The boy’s mouth appeared to be taped shut as well.
A concerned Facebook viewer immediately filed a complaint with the Franklin County Children’s Services after the video was posted and authorities contacted the young Mother.
Rudolph claimed that the entire thing was just a joke. She then posted a follow-up video explaining that she’d just have him sit in a corner moving forward, but later added that it was her child and that she could hang him upside down if that’s what she wanted to do. She also told viewers that she had been reported to Children’s Services
Following this, Rudolph was arrested and charged with third-degree felony abduction, and Children’s Services took her son from her.
