This will be Khloé’s first child, which she beautifully notes on in the photo’s emotional caption:

“My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!

Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes! I know we’ve been keeping this quite but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us ❤️ Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life! ❤️❤️❤️”

At first glance, it appears that Khloé is wearing a big rock on her ring finger but it actually looks like those are the same three bands that she’s typically seen sporting.

Congratulations Khloe!

There are a lot of “grey areas” when it comes to parenting… Should we spank them? Should we teach them about some controversial issues? When do we know it’s the right time to have “the talk” … But, when it comes to the subject of affection, what method of showing love is considered appropriate?

Many people believe that kissing your child on the lips is totally fine, but others feel it’s just one step too far. Charlotte Reznick, an American educational psychologist at UCLA and the author of How To Transform Stress and Anxiety Into Joy and Success and he Power of Your Child’s Imagination, says that the mouth is an erogenous zone and should be a “no-go” for parents.

Reznick also thinks that a kiss on the lips can be potentially confusing for the children and stimulating. She also thinks that a kiss on the lips might be mistaken for sexual or romantic activity because they often see their parents express themselves in that way and could wonder why they are engaging in the same activity with them.

It gets very confusing. As a child gets to 4 or 5 or 6 and their sexual awareness comes about (and some kids have an awareness earlier—as when we notice they start masturbating at 2 or 3 sometimes—they just discover their private parts and it feels good), the kiss on the lips can be stimulating to them,” – she said.

She also added that a child might get easily confused thinking that if daddy kisses mommy on the lips, what it means when I kiss my parents the same way in the mouth. Asked when it’s the right time to stop kissing your children on the lips, she answered it would be now!
