In Covington, GA, a toddler was found on the side of a Covington roadway on Thursday evening.
Deputies found the young boy in his car seat on the side of Hwy 11 near Patrick Road around 5:30 p.m.
First responders flew the toddler to an area hospital just as a precaution, but after an initial check by doctors, the child appeared to be uninjured.
Police later found the mother of the toddler, however, they are continuing to search for the Father.
There is also still no explanation as to why the boy was left on the side of the road.
