In Sterling, VA, a girl has died and her twin brother is in critical condition after their Mother found them in their pool on Saturday morning.
Family members said that the twin 2-year-olds snuck out of their house on Acorn Court in Sterling. Their mother found the unresponsive in the pool. She called for help at 10:43 a.m. but it’s not known how long they were in the water.
The girl died at a nearby hospital and her brother remains in critical condition.
The mother is devastated and remains at the hospital with her young son.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the case.
