A Mother Gets Bullied For Wearing “Inappropriate” Dress When Picking Up Her Kids
Bullying is one of the worst things to encounter as a child, especially if you’re the target of bullying! Kids can be so very cruel and the effects of bullying can carry on through to adulthood.
And when you’re a child you’d think that bullying is just schoolyard behavior and it’s something that you can say goodbye to upon reaching adulthood. However, as one mom, Bella Vrondos is learning, adults can actually be just as bad for bullying— if not worse than kids!
Bella, who’s a 33-year-old mother from Mascot, Sydney, Australia, is just your regular, everyday mom.
So What’s the difference with Bella?
Bella, is in fact, a Glamour model as well as a boutique owner, with a love for pretty shiny eye shadow palettes, fake tans, as well as Kim Kardashian-inspired fashion trends.
The mom to 9-year-old Alyssa, 8-year-old Kiera, and 6-year-old Connor, the blonde beauty says that she is constantly bullied and harassed by other parents – and its all because of the way she looks.
Regarding her style and preferences, Bella says to Caters Real Life:
“I love Kim Kardashian, she’s sexy but classy. I love wearing whatever she wears but I’m never distasteful, my hair and makeup are always done. Dressing up and doing my makeup makes me feel good about myself.”
One time, the large breasted Bella is advertised as an escort on Craigslist as a nasty joke. Another time, she is completely ignored by the other Mothers while chaperoning her daughters at a birthday party.
Although Bella does not have any mom friends, she does have thousands of Facebook followers. She explains to Caters Real Life:
“I’m not included in any of the mum’s groups or cliques. A lot of criticism is from social networks and I always get taunts online from younger people.”
Recently, a photo posted to Facebook of Bella in a beige dress in front of her children’s school draws furious criticism, even going viral. She nonchalantly describes the experience to Caters Real Life, saying:
“People were commenting saying I had my boobs out and shouldn’t have worn that dress.”
Despite all of the criticisms, Bella’s kids think that she’s perfect exactly the way she is: “My daughter Kiera is exactly like me, she’s the prodigy of Bella. My kids love me for me and don’t want me to change.”
The Mother of 3 is now hoping to deliver an important message to her bullies and fellow mothers alike, saying that:
“I didn’t get plastic surgery to look like a porn star but because I’ve had three kids and my body totally deformed- I did it to be happy and feel confident with my body.
Being a mum doesn’t mean you have to give up your whole self being; I am trying to create awareness about that…
My children love me the way I am. If I was to change my appearance then I wouldn’t be their mum— I wouldn’t be me.”
