Last week saw many people taking to Social Media expressing their thoughts on the incident involving a child falling into a Gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Tweets from both parenting and animal advocate perspectives were prevalent but there’s still a thin line between who’s wrong or right in this situation.
Here’s a few opinions which got Twitter buzzing:

A zoo is still a safe and wonderful place to take your kids… Unless you are an idiot then no place is safe. #Harambe #cincinatti

I wish more people were raised to have compassion, respect and education for animals. Maybe then #justiceforharambe wouldn’t have to trend 🌲

Don’t take your kids to the zoo if you are unable to keep an eye on them at all times. Simple. #JusticeForHarambe

1. Truly sorry for the death of #Harambe.
2. Do not blame the mom as almost all parents lost the sight of their child at least once! I did!— Tales of New Turkey (@Barishik) May 30, 2016

How do you not pay attention to your kid long enough for him to climb through barricades & fall into a gorilla exhibit… #Harambe

Instead of blaming zookeepers for shooting #harambe why don’t we blame the dumbass parents for not being responsible for their damn child

The #Cincinnatti Zoo must be closed, it’s criminal that it’s unable to protect the animals or public. Senseless loss of life RIP #Harambe
