An infant is injured after his father allegedly bent him in two because he was crying, according to KNXV.

On December 19, Phoenix police received a call from a home near 12th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, Arizona where they found a 6-month-old child unresponsive and not breathing.

The child was given CPR until paramedics arrived at the scene.

Doctors at Phoenix Children’s Hospital reported that the infant had injuries to his liver and pancreas, a broken wrist, and the bruised thigh.

They also told the police that “the injuries are not survivable.”

The child’s father, 30-year-old Robert Anthony Resendiz, is reportedly responsible.

The man admitted to pressing the child’s legs over his head and trying to bend his body to make the boy stop crying. He claimed that he didn’t stop until the kid could no longer move his legs.

He even admitted that he bit the boy twice out of frustration.

Resendiz is now being held on a $250,000 bond on child abuse charges.
