We want to be able to have good memories with our little ones sitting at the table with us, eating their first meal.
Having a highchair makes this possible since our babies can sit at the table with us, in a chair that is safe, and it’s setting the stage for happy eating habits.
Graco, who is one of the biggest baby product brands, is one of the companies that make highchairs for parents to love.
The brand goes beyond just a chair that can be used for only a few months and offer highchairs that convert depending on the age and stage of the child. Making the furniture a functional piece for a long time.
Unfortunately, Graco has now issued a recall for one of their 6-in-1 highchairs after receiving several reports of children getting injured.
The highchairs are able to convert into size different modes. These include a traditional highchair, a booster seat, a toddler chair, and a table.
The recall has been issued after the company received several reports of young children getting injured.
So, this is serious and Graco is urging you to check your highchair.
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has now issued a recall for the Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchairs.
According to the recall notice, “The highchair’s cushion is white with gold and gray polka dots. The model number is printed on a label on the underside of the toddler seat and on a label on the back of the booster seat. Graco and Table2Table highchair are also printed on the label on the underside of the toddler seat.”
The voluntary recall has been issued by Graco after receiving “38 reports of the rear leg pivoting out of position, including five injuries to children who got bumps and bruises when their highchair fell over when they were in it.”
The release indicates that the recall was issued for both the United States and Canada. Approximately 36,000 were sold in the United States and 3,200 high chairs were sold in Canada between April and December of 2017.
The chairs were sold exclusively at Walmart, these 6-in-1 highchairs sold for about $100 a piece. The model associated with the recall include the number 2013805 and UPC Code 047406146475.
Anyone who has this product in their home are being asked to stop using it immediately. The company does not want any other harm coming to other children and instead consumers are asked to call for a replacement kit. The repair kit will be mailed after you provide your address and will come free of charge.
