A family in Michigan is suffering an awful tragedy. A man was charged with first-degree murder for shooting his son, after the teen allegedly molested a toddler.
37-year-old Jamar Pinkney Sr. was reportedly told by the boy’s mother, Lazette Cherry, that the teen had had improper sexual contact with his 3-year-old half-sister.
Police say that Pinkney Sr. went to the Highland Park home where the teen lived with his mother, stripped him naked at gunpoint, marched him to a vacant lot and then shot him to death execution-style.
Reports say that Pinkney Sr. claimed when he learned about his son’s actions, he snapped.
A police spokesman said that when Cherry and another female relative tried to stop Pinkney Sr. he pointed the gun at the women and forced Pinkney Jr. to leave.
In addition to murder, Pinkney Sr. was charged with three counts of felony assault and one count of felony firearm possession.
