The 14-year-old girl last made contact with family members back in March, according to investigators.
Erie police are now continuing their search for a 14-year-old city girl who last had contact with family in Erie in March.
Ashleyann Otero was last seen on March 8. She last had contact with family members in late March, Erie police Detective Matthew Berarducci said.
Ashleyann was walking away from school on the afternoon that she was last seen and had made a series of calls, Berarducci said.
Ashleyann reportedly has family in South Carolina.
A missing person flier produced by the Polly Klaas Foundation was posted on the Erie Bureau of Police Facebook page on March 23.
Ashleyann can be described as a Hispanic female who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 118 pounds. She has gray eyes and dirty blond hair, according to information on the flier. she was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweater and a black and pink coat.
