Jacob Swiedarke, 31, a retired emergency medical technician and police officer has been charged with sexual assault this week, in Adams County.
Jacob Swiedarke was charged on Wednesday with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of an underage child, according to court documents.
The Wisconsin Police Officer received a report of the sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl, according to a criminal complaint.
The incidents reportedly happened between October 2012 and April 2013 in the town of Rome and involved a girl with who associated with Swiedarke.
Swiedarke is facing a charge of first-degree sexual assault of the same 4-year-old girl at his Port Edwards home Sept. 10, according to documents from the Wood County court.
Along with four other charges which include two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, filed on Oct. 5.
According to the criminal complaint, the former police officer also sexually assaulted two girls, ages 8 and 9, on Sept. 10 at his home.
The girls said that the officer paid them after the incidents, according to the complaint.
Swiedarke was a police officer for the Adams County town of Rome. He resigned in 2015, the town of Rome Police Chief Jason Lauby said Swiedarke worked for the department from 2012-2015.
Previously Swiedarke was suspended from his job with Spirit Ambulance in Stevens Point.
Swiedarke was released on Wednesday on a $2,500 cash bail.
Swiedarke was also previously charged in September and October – again with charges for sexually assaulting three children below the age of 10.
Swiedarke was released on the September and October charges on a signature bond.
