Boy Walks up to Piano in Costco, Shoppers Blown away When 9-Year-Old Starts Playing
Jake Clayton has been playing the piano ever since he was 5 years old. After years of training, he became the star of a “concerto debut at age 10, performing Mozart with the Saddleback College Orchestra in California.”
Clayton had played his heart out for various audiences in California. Apart from being a graduate of the Summer Academy for Chamber Music at the University of California Irvine, the passionate pianist had won several awards.
As he started to play a piano rendition of the Hungarian folk dance, Csárdás, even shoppers stopped to listen. Beginning in a slow tempo, Clayton’s little fingers soon began to play vigorously.
The kid was totally zoned in and focused. Suddenly, the arrangement came to a slower pace, but Clayton played it with lots of passion and precision.
Just when everyone thought the impromptu recital was over, Clayton ended Csárdás in an uptempo rhythm. Upon finishing, one impressed lady shouted, “bravo!”
This gifted child was clearly born for showbiz! And what better place to play his little heart out than Costco?
While playing in concert venues came second nature to Clayton, this may have been his best performance yet. It was not done for a competition, but just for fun in a casual setting, which I’m sure most of those shoppers truly enjoyed!
Shoppers were blown apart by the child prodigy. One man even stood up right next to Clayton to get a close-up shot.
Toddler Follows Dad As He Drives Away, Can’t Stop Shouting ‘I Love You, Daddy’
Adults don’t always get it. Often, we’re simply running around in such a mad rush that the daily comes and goes on with those we care about scarcely register.
Oh sure, we might holler a few quick words over our shoulder, kiss the air, or spare a quick wave. But sometimes we simply presume that love and devotion are innately understood … so we gradually learn to take the sentiments themselves for granted.
Behavioral experts like Psych Central and others have noted that little children can teach us a great deal about the things that matter the most. Of course, this can only apply if we’re paying rather close attention.
It could be safe to say that the little boy named Colton recently wanted to make sure that nobody missed any single moment of his message. In a nearly three-minute video that’s gone viral on social media, Colton decided to see his dad off for the day.
Things started off predictably enough. The enthusiastic toddler bounded out of the house in his diaper, dancing up to his father’s truck to share an affectionate hug.
For safety’s sake, Colton’s father then told him to stand over with his mother while the vehicle backed down the driveway. Apparently, however, Colton wasn’t quite done with his send-off.
“Bye bye, Daddy!” chirped the waving excitedlittle boy. His father shouted back, “Bye son, I love you!”
That’s when Colton adorably decided this would make a wonderful catchphrase for the occasion at hand, and he wasted no time trying it out.
“I love you, Daddy,” the youngster commenced to yell repeatedly. Dad responded back in kind, using the cheerful endearment “Sunshine.”
This demonstrative exchange went on several more times — approximately fifteen, more or less. Colton was eventually so overcome with emotions that he literally began chasing down the truck for another hug, and Mom had to gently call him back.
Kids grow up, and they would go on to accomplish some truly unforgettable things. But few recollections lodge in the heart like the memory of a devoted little kid on a bright, sunny morning announcing to all the world that nobody matters more than the guy beeping his horn in farewell.
